I received my referrel

Okay, so yesterday I received my referrel to see the surgeon...So, I called them and they told me before I can consult w/him I need to attend the seminar.

So, I called Banner Health Good Samritan (sp?) and made my appointment for 03/27/07 @ 4:30pm. I also have an appointment to see the cardiologist on 03/21 @ 2:30pm.

Well anyway, it just seems that Iam getting closer to my goal. I am really trying not to get my hopes up high....but unfortunatley they are . I have my surgeon picked out and assigned already.

What is next and what happens at this seminar? Why aren't there more seminars? Why so I have to wait so long...don't they understand that I am that kid who says "Are we there yet?"

I know exactly what you mean. By the time I said in MY head, "Yes, I'm having surgery." I was ready to go! All the "stuff" just got in my way :) Consider it a time to get your thoughts together and MAYBE hear something you didn't know. In my head I am two shakes away from a doctor...LOL...but alas I am not a doctor :)

I am SO ready....and I just knew I was going directly in to see the surgeon when I got my referrel....but then they hit me w/a seminar....the 27th just seems so far away

But, I am SO EXCITED I can burst......but I won't

No bursting allowed! It makes it VERY hard for them to do the surgery :) Countdown: 8 days!!!

Both of the surgeons that I considered only have seminars once a month....and yes, it is required that you attend that prior to any appointments. I am still jumping all of the insurance hoops...feels like hurry up and wait. Good luck.
