hi all, I'm new to this particular board. i'm 7 months post op..and about 4lbs shy of my doctors goal. I have gotten a lot of support and good advice from the Other boards I've been on, but I think this one might be the best for me as all of you are in their 30's, as I am (I'm 31, going on 32). I think our issues will differ a bit from folks who are either 20 or 50. So, just saying hi..and hope to get to know all of you. jess

Welcome Jess Let us in on your secret to loss as much as you have in 7 monthes or any helpful hints? I am also 7 monthes out and have lost 60 lbs. I have been at a stall for 2 monthes. Looking for so support and wise words! Thanks Amy

Hi Amy, I don't know that I have any secret, I just exercise 3x or more a week. I do spin class 2x a week and then sometimes I pick up Yoga afterwards or do swimming. I also really stick to the high protein diet. i do cheat, we all do here and there..but I have a very un-forgiving pouch..so If I don't eat right, eat too much, eat the wrong stuff..it makes me sick..however, I've never thrown up. Its weird.. I think taht the working out and eating less just jump started my metabolism. if you can take a spin class, I Highly recommend it. i had hit a stall for a while and WOW... that really kicks your weight loss in high gear. Best of luck to ya!! Also, my new profile is much more up to date..I'm not sure why my old profile still shows when you click my name. Jess
