Hi All...I am new to this board

Hi all, I am a 32 y/o, single mother of 3 beautiful children, ages 16(boy), 14(girl), and 4(girl). Started having kids at a young age, but would not change things if I could. I am scheduled for surgery in 32 days, 23 hours, and 14 minutes, which comes to July 17th. I am nervous and Elated all at the same time. I got my date in April and the time is rolling past so quickly. I have set some pre and post op goals that I have accomplished and that makes me happy too. I am glad that the time is coming, because I am soooooooo tired of being fat. I have been a member of OH for a while now, but I do not think I have been to this board before. I love it when I have people of my own age to talk too and knows how I feel. Well, I am going to go now. Thanks for the continued support. Nissah 360/315/???/180 ........July 17th

Nissah, I just finished reading your profile and WOW! You have definitely had to endure alot! I am also 32 with three children (8,6,and 15 mos) and I just finished my nurse interview (at Mercy) yesterday. I have my Pre Op Diet and Exercise appt next week and then will schedule the Dr appt (I am going with Dr. Smolik). I have completed my pysch appt, sleep study, and EKG already. I am just hoping my insurance company approves me! (Keep your fingers crossed)! Good Luck! And keep on that journal so we can see how you are doing! Janine
