It's official. I am banded!
Good evening everyone,
I am hooped up on pain meds right now 
so I will give you the short version of my surgery. It was done at 10:30 am yesterday morning and I was discharged at 3:00 pm today. The staff was wonderful. This was such a breeze. I feel great.
I can't get over how tiny the incisions are. There are 5 of them that are 1/4 inch in size and one that is about 1/2 inch. I thought they would be at least an inch each. I can barely even see them.
My weight yesterday morning was 19.3 pounds less than when I had my pre-op appointment on May 12th. It has to be a difference in scales because there is no way that 5 days of liquids and I lost 19.3 pounds. Either way, I feel wonderful. I am already so happy that I had this done.
