Dont know what to do!
Timelines depend on a LOT of different factors. I was with Kaiser (insurance and hospital) and was approved in a matter of a month and then was stuck in their program for over a year and a half and never got a date. Then decided to self pay and from the first appointment to my actual surgery was only 20 days!
So, it depends. But congrats on taking the brave step to bettering your life and improving your health!
Take Care & let us know how the visit with the dietician goes!

Try and be patient, and take time now to get set for your post-op. The surgery is the easy part of the whole process. I also think they make it take a little time so you have a chance to evaluate the process. From my first meeting with to my surgery it was about 6 months, but that was because of insurance stuff.
Best wishes, Amy
depends on your surgeon and insurance. My surgeon required 6 months with a dietician (even though my insurance did not). But I had been seeing one for well over 2 years so that wasn't an issue with me - I had already been trying everything under the sun to lose the weight. Good luck!
