Newbie from WA State

Hey everyone! My name is April and I am from Wa State... I am 21 years old, 5'6, 275lbs (and after the seahawks losing yesterday, I may have gained 5 more lbs). I am planning on having LAP BAND sugery in March.. I dont have a specific date yet, but my surgeon consult is on Friday. Unfortunately, my insurance wont pay for my procedure, so I will be doing cash pay... I am looking for new people to chat with, etc.

Hello April! Glad you found us and this board... I am about a month out from surgery and had Verticle Gastrectomy... I too did self-pay... I figure if a car is worth that much, my body definately is! Afterall, I only have a car for like 5 years and am with this body for LIFE. Congrats on making a postive choice for not only your health but your overall wellbeing. i think the lap band is a great choice a friend of mine did it and it worked well for her..hit me if u got ne questions
