I am down to about 355 now so i ve lost about 60 something lbs. Down about 100 lbs from my highest weight. doing really well. first couple months seemed to be the hardest. It's a lot easier to get food now too and all the liquids i need to get in a day. first 6 weeks or so it seemed i could only get about half of what i was suppose to get in. had to get some new clothes went down from a 54 waist down to a 46 and there kind of a little big should of got a 44 but i figured they would last me a couple months or so. Was kinda pumped about that. People have been really noticing now that i have been losing weight too which is cool. Dont think i weighed this much since junior year high school. i get from people that face a looks a lot thinner and i look taller. dont know how a i look taller? i was about 6'3" before surgery and a still am. Also started yoga about 2 weeks ago with my brother and roommate. There was few poses on my stomach that couldnt do but everything else was fine. i dont remember being this sore even after football practice in high school. Seems every muscle in my body is sore for about 2 days after. going to start on light weights and cardio next week. My skin was dry before surgery and now its just brutal i have to put lotion on like twice a day or just break out and get all inchy but now its a lot better since i have been doing that. Seems like im doing pretty good though ,no major complictions from the surgery and i starting feel a lot more energetic than i was before. T.J.
Hi TJ =)
You are doing awesome! Great job on the weight loss so far.
Are you getting in your water?
As for the dry skin thing: I noticed that with myself too. I'm addicted to lotions and lip balms now.
Yoga sounds fun! I'm proud that you're doing so much exercise. I need to get into some kind of exercise routine too...
I'm 4 months out and down 80 some odd pounds. My goal is 130. I weighed in at 275 today. I was 364 on the date of surgery. (9/22/05)
Keep us updated on your progress man!

What a success! Glad to hear you are feeling more energized, that will just jumpstart the rest of your future weight loss
You get that you are taller, and I keep hearing from people that I seem shorter!
I am only 5'4" and I think the extra weight tricked them into thinking I was generally bigger, thus taller then I really was! And as I get smaller, they start to notice how short I really am.
Anway, good luck on the rest of your journey and hope everything continues to go well for you!

Hi J.T.! Way to go on your weight loss, keep up the great work! Yeah, clothes shopping before surgery kinda sucked and I never wanted to do it, but now I love it! I hate having to keep spending money on new stuff, but I still do it and often!
Wow, you're doing yoga, that's awesome! I started doing yoga (from a DVD) a few months ago and I love it. I feel so relaxed and energized afterwards. Well be sure to keep us all updated on your weight loss, okay.
