QUESTION...PLEASE HELP
I also am not a smoker, but I was told it's crucial to quit for a few reasons. a) blood lots can kill you and smoking greatly increases your risk, and b) it sucks after surgery giving up food. Imagine being in the hospital, in pain, nauseous, and having cigarette withdrawels all at once. I know people who cheated and quit the day of surgery, and deeply regretted it afterwards. You need to give your body time to heal from quitting one thing before you quit another (ie your poor eating habits). The best of luck to you with both! You'll be a MUCH healthier person from your good decisions
