My answers:
1.) Rented Wedding Crashers... don't know much about it, hope its funny. Will prob watch tonight.
2.) I am into makeup... kind of my obessison/hobby. So I really like to do makeovers on myself, friends, or anyone willing. LOL. Along with that I collect different makeup, so I am often bad and spend too much time and money buying stuff.
3.) Crash. Kind of depressing, but very good. And, for book "The Tipping Point" I actually read it a few years ago, but it is the last really good book I have picked up.
4.) I don't know the offical name of the genre, but my favorite singer is Jack Johnson. Sometimes I find his stuff in the "contempary folk" section of music stores, which I think is too funny. I also like Ben Harper and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Basically chill music. My friend affectionately refers to the genre as 'pot head songs'. Very mellow.
1.) last thing I did was dishes from dinner. UHG!!!
2.) I am a Makeup JUNKIE!!! I think I have every color in the MAC collection in my makeup drawer ant that is no lie.
3.)movie: 40 year old virgin. Book: A million little pieces
4.)music: classic rock (Rolling Sones etc.) and I hate to admit it but I also enjoy the "pot head songs" genre as well.
I read your profile and I hope all is going well with your recovery and adjusting. I am still pre op but have a surgery date of may 10th. I was going to go in on feb 1 but decide to wait because I am in school. Good Luck to you!
Hi Allison
I just got two new things from the new mac collection. goldenaire pigment and flirty number eyeshadow and love both! have you had a chance to see the new stuff (it came out the day after christmas) a ton of pretty items in my opinion.
Also, I can't wait to read A million little pieces. I caught a bit of oprah yesterday and the author was on. So facinating.
And about my profile. I feel bad because I seem to only post when I am discouraged or down on myself. I never post about the good stuff. So, don't think its all bad That said, I could never imagine doing this whilst actively in school, so I think it was a good decision on your part to wait. It will be better for you
1. The last thing you did before signing on to OH.com?
I just got back from returning a christmas gift.
2. Favorite thing(s) to do alone?
I play canasta and literati on yahoo...I think most people would agree I play/spend too much time on the computer.
3. Last good movie you watched or book you read?
Hmm The Chronicles of Narnia was a cute movie and I don't read much but last time I read Dan Brown's books: The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons (read them during the summer) both are very good.
4. Favorite type of music?
I like Jack Johnson too...as a matter of fact the video thats on my profile (and isn't playing anymore ) is Sitting,Waiting, Wishing. I guess I would say I like mostly alternative and rock music.
1. The last thing you did before signing on to OH.com?
Worked on a paper that is going to kill me
2. Favorite thing(s) to do alone?
Well well well....LOL
I like to sing at the top of my lungs, take hot baths, sit and sip tea and people watch
3. Last good movie you watched or book you read?
OOh... Im reading Appetites right now and I just saw the producers
4. Favorite type of music?
musical theatre
I like musical theatre too! I just saw Wicked in SF this past year. AMAZING! And get this, they have a lottery, where you enter your name 2 hours before curtain call and if you are selected you get to purchase two tickets for $25 each (no taxes or anything). So my friend and I did it and we got FRONT ROW CENTER seats for $50 total. How lucky were we, huh.
Anyway, I also really really liked Hairspray and Les Mis (which I saw in NY).
What are you favorite shows?
1. Just got back from a Social Distortion concert at Anaheim's House of Blues.
2. Listen to music & craft for craft swaps on www.craftster.org. I just made the cutest felt chocolate donut with pink icing & sprinkles!
3. I just finished Balzac & the Little Chinese Seamstress by Dai Sijie which was a short but entertaining read. I'm almost done with Foucault's Pendulum by Umberto Eco.
I recently watched Mr. & Mrs. Smith which I liked but couldn't get over how super-skinny Angelina Jolie looked...yikes! Someone feed that girl! I saw Fun with Dick and Jane as a free preview and was glad I didn't spend my money on the movie. Entertaining if you've got two hours to kill but not worth 10 bucks...(god, movies are soo expensive!)
4. Indie, alternative, punk, rock and some pop.
It's not quite make up, but I do have an unhealthy need to collect lip balm/gloss. There's no way I could even use all the balms I've currently got but I rotate them. I usually carry at least 5 on me at all times. I like choices, hee!
Oh, and I like the Chili Peppers too. Last time I saw them in concert was ages ago, remember those flaming hats? But I was just singing Californication in the car on the way home tonight...
