Surgery went well

well got back last saturday. Surgery went great and im healing very well, but the incision is itching like crazy. They ended up doing open which was no big deal, doctor said something about my body type that he preferred to do it that way. Its like a 1 foot incision from the top of my belly bottom to the bottom of my rib cage. it doesnt actually look as bad as it sounds. that first week has really sucked mainly because im on clear liquids and my family made me stay at my grandparents which run a restaurant with every food imaginable, i think that was more torture staying there. cant wait till i can start pureeing some food. Everything seems to be going pretty good right now. I'll post and tell ya how im doing in couple months T.J.

iching means it's healing! or at least i've been told. congrats on the smooth surgery. the liquids phase of the diet is the worst. i suffered from so much head hunger, i was in total grr mode for two weeks. it gets much easier and much better as time goes on, so hang in there! sugar free popcicles are very helpful in giving one "chewing" satisfaction. best of luck and keep sipping, sipping, sipping!
