Have A Date

Havent posted on here for close a year now. It' s this coming wednesday nov 30. Im pretty sure i have a very good surgeon. Its going to be at the barix clinics and done by Dr. Boe. A little nervous you might say. I'll post when i get back from belividiere as soon as i can and and tell ya how im doing. T.J.

Hey TJ... You are all set to go it sounds like!! Try not to be nervous. You'll do just fine. I recommend joining the WLS list on Livejournal because it really will be helpful. travis, my dad canceled his surgery once before finally getting up the courage to go through with it. and after watching him (survive and thrive) i signed up. it was the best decision i've made this year! something that has really helped me (both pre-and post-opp) was attending a weekly support group. i got lots of info. about the surgery process before i went in and gets lots of support/tips/encouragement to deal with the daily stuff after the surgery. also, people that attend support groups generally don't gain back as much (interesting side note) after the initial weight loss. good luck, kari

Hey TJ, I met with Dr. Boe and he is a great surgen, unfortuantely he wasn't covered fully by my insurance, so i had to go with one in my network... Oh well... I am sure you will do great! Congrats and good luck!!! Bridget 280/210/140ish RNY 8/8/05
