Hello everyone, new here need some NY friends

Hi there, my name is Karyn and I live just outside of Albany NY. I am new to this board but not to OH, I spend a lot of time on the BMI over 50 boards. I am trying to find some local support from people that are closer to my age going through this WLS journey. I am currently pre-op but I have my appointment with my surgeon to get my date on Dec. 1. I am glad to have found this board, I dont see too many WLS patients close to my age! I have decided to do this now, simply because, why wait? I figure my body will handle it better because I am young. So please let me know if there is anyone here that needs a buddy! thanks, Karyn
