Hey sweetie! Lets take a lil breather here I think you're right in the fact that it is almost impossible to gain 15lbs in two days. But, are you getting in all you're water? Sometimes if you're dehydrated, your body will retain any and all water that you take in...that could contribute to some of the fluctuation. Also, are you expecting your period soon? I think, you're probably doing great! It sounds like you're following dr.'s orders, so you'll probably just pass through this plateau. I hope you get through this okay! Maybe you should take a few days away from the scale Jennie SN: JennieSilva81

Hi Bridget You are doing fine. Try only getting your weight in the am. When I weigh myself from morning to even its always off by 5 lbs. And also if you forget to weigh yourself in the am then dont get on the scale for that day wait till the next day. HTH Cindy 378/321/a thick180

I'm sure you didn't gain 10lbs, remember some chicken noodle soup can be very salty and can lead to water retention, I know this happens to me, just keep drinking water, goodluck Connie

Bridget it sounds like your scale had a moment. There is no way your going to gain 15 pounds over night. I would only weigh yourself in the morning. This way you have a more acurate reading. I weigh myself every morning. I've learned not to freak out if I gain a couple pounds. I usually can think back to what I put into my mouth and figure out why I have gained. Good luck! I think you just proved the point of why you shouldn't weigh every day. Your body does all kinds of weird stuff in time. It retains, it releases. It loses pounds, it loses inches. Who knows why it does it - don't stress yourself out trying to figure it out. A good reason to only weigh once a week or month or whaenever, is so you only have to see your average. Daily weight means nothing. It feels good to see numbers drop when they do that but then your body spazzes out and you end up right there with it. You are doing so great. Now stop weighing yourself!!!!

Hi Bridget, Please stop weighing yourself 2 times a day Honestly your weight can fluctuate about 6-10 pounds a day depending on so many factors. pick a day of the week and weigh in in the morning. I weigh in monthly, but some people can't wait that long, sojust do it once a week. if need be lose the scale at home and only weigh in at the gym if you go to the gym. That has worked wonders for me. I see bigger drops in weight that way and makes me feel so much better about my progress and stops those freak outs I hope this helps! Hugs, Sara
