Hey Everyone Newbie here

Hey everyone I just found this group and thought that I would introduce myself. I am 27 years old and I am from Mississippi. I am waiting to have surgury. My ins will not pay for it for any reason. I am having to go throught MS vocational Rehab but there are only 2 doctors in the state that accept that kind of payment. So now it is a waiting game. Well I just thought I would introduce myself. Joyce, I am welcoming you to the 20's bunch (sorry we dont have a commitee) I know this board seems a little desserted but trust me were out there I have found alot of great people hear on this board and alot alot of suport again I wish you the best with your wls journey I too am waiting and waiting and waiting the only thing that keeps me going are my friends on oh keep us dated with your progress Daria

hey joyce! here's happy thoughts to stay the course while waiting! you can start some of the mental prep work while you're waiting, like getting focused and all. having the surgery is one thing, but breaking up with food (and all the emotional issues that go with it) is another. -kari
