6 month check up/diet & WOW moment
Hello-
I had my 6 month check up on 10/27. I was a bit early but thats what I had to deal w/due to my college schedule. I am approved to get back on birth control. The doc is so happy w/my weight loss. I have a new diet.
6 months after surgery you may add:
Crunchy fruits and veggies:
Fresh pears, peaches, apples, etc...
~~~PEELED~~~ Grapes
Spinach - greens
Cabbage
**Raw: celery, carrots, etc... (These are all good choices)
Salads with fat free dressing.
SAMPLE MENU
Breakfast: 1 slice whole wheat french toast
Beverage: 1/2 cup protein drink
Lunch: 1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese with 1/2 cup canned fruit in its own juice
Beverage: 1/2 cup protein drink
Dinner: 2 ounces baked chicken
1/4-1/2 cup green beans
1/4 potato with diet margarine
Breakfast: 1 slice whole wheat bread with diet butter
Beverage: 1/2 cup protein drink
Lunch: 1/2 sandwich made w/1 ounce turkey, 1 ounce low fat cheese, lettuce tomato, mustard
Beverage: 1/2 cup protein drink
Dinner: 1/2-1 cup red beans and rice (see recipe)
1/4-1/2 cup steamed broccoli
Breakfast: 1 waffle with diet margarine and unsweetened jelly 1/2 cup fruit
Beverage: 1/2 cup protein drink
Lunch: Tossed salad greens with 1/2 cup raw veggies, 1/4 tuna salad (in water) and diet mayonnaise, 1 small roll with diet margarine
Beverage: 1/2 cup protein drink
Dinner: 2 ounce grilled turkey burger
1/4-1/2 cup noodles
1/4-1/2 cup mixed veggies

I AM NO LONGER OBESE I'M JUST OVERWEIGHT!!! Thank You Lord!!! I am 158 lbs and just overweight! YES!
