A couple of WOW! Moments....
Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to share with you the fantastic day I had yesterday... I had to go to the corporate office (I work at a remote site about 30 min away) to drop off some paperwork... I ran into an old friend who I hadn't seen in about 4 weeks (she saw me about 4 weeks post-op when I was down about 25 pounds) and she barely even recognized me! She was like Oh my god you look so fantastic! I was then invited out to drink with D and some other coworkers. I had iced tea... lol... no drinks for me!
A little background, the company I work for was started by my aunt Loree and her two business partners. Loree is beautiful and always has been. She is generally thin (she gained some weight with her pregnancies but at most was a size 16 or so... she is usually a size 8-10), and I have always looked up to her tremendously. She also has the best fashion sense of anyone I know... (we both have shopping issues... lol)
But, one of the executives that I was out with, kept telling me how much I reminded him of Loree with looks, the way I dress my mannerisms and blah blah blah. Which I take as such a complement!
So it was a SUPER exciting day and a Total WOW! moment! Oh I am also down 47 pounds in about 10 weeks... I feel GREAT!
