home from WLS and doing well!
i had my surgery on oct. 10 and was back home the next day. i've spent the last few days pacing up and down my hallway, watching tv and movies, reading, napping and sipping, sipping, sipping. the whole process wasn't too bad, but i'm not up for another surgery anytime soon, it's so tiring and uncomfortable. oh, and this gas is killing me! i am so bloated, i feel like a preggo lady. but every day gets a little easier, i even showered yesterday and today, managed to make it to the computer downstairs. so this is progress...
Wow! you must be doing amazing if you were able to go home the day after your surgery!!! Way to go and welcome to the losing side. I think the built up gas was the worst part of the entire process for me! Did you have it lap? I'm thinking you did if you got to go home next day, lol. My surgery was done lap and they pump you with all that gas. When I woke up, it was hard to breath b/c of it. I finally started to expell 
it a few days later and eventually it went away. Well take it easy and don't push yourself too hard. And you're right, everyday it does get easier!
