Chinese Food
Hey!
I'm three weeks post op (eating pureed foods still). I have been hungry for chinese food lately and I know there isn't much I can eat while on pureed foods, but does anyone have any recomendations on which dishes are ok for our pouches? I am a little concerned about sugar content in some of their sauces. Thanks for your imput a while!

I am almost 6 months out and I can eat anything that I want to....except Chinese. The food is either way way way to greasy or too hard to chew. The eggrolls use to be my favorite, but now they don't taste good. The sweet sauces dont mess me up but nothing with sugar does. I know several people who are able to eat lots of things but still cannot handle the chinese food....

I would advise you to stay away from Chinese food. I am almost a year out and I still get sick from it. I had the VBg so its not from the sugar. I try again every now and then with the same outcome. For whatever reason it just won't stay down. I can have a bite or two, but any more than that and I end up puking...sorry for the grossness If anything I would say you can have soup but other than that its just not a good plan especially this early out.
