I finally had my initial consult today. It went better than expected. After the doc said i was a perfect canidate, the nurse told me that with medicare, you do not need any pre-authorization. Holy Crap! I must be dreaming because things like this just don't happen to me. Then they said i have to see a pulminologist, psychologist, and a nutritionist, and i am good to go. I soon as i got home i made these appointments. By the 17th of this month they wil all be taken care. Wel thanks for listening, i have been reading these posts for a while now, and now i have my own news to report.

i felt the same way when they told me that BCBS PPO didn't need pre-authorization either! I still ened up paying almost $3,000 for all the extra test, but it was the best damn $3,000 I ever spent!! Good Luck! ( and p.s. we wanna see a pic of you!)
