Will I lose all my hair? Will I be able to keep it long and thick as long as I keep my protein high? Just random questions, thanks for the replies!

I have long hair (middle of my back) and I havent cut any off yet.... nor do I plan on cutting it anytime soon. You will lose some hair, usually in months 3-6. Mine was pretty bad in the beginning and my shower looked digusting once I got done washing my hair, but honestly, I think it has already started to slow down. I am about 4.5mo post op. I have thin hair to begin with. You wont lose ALL of it and if you have thick hair to begin with, no one is going to notice the difference except you. No worries! It all comes back.

Hi again, I have long hair, but I recently had to get some layers and cut off about 4 inches. Before surgery it was almost to my butt. It was thick and everything, but now its much thinner, so the layers really give me the lift I need to stop it from looking stringy. I did lose a lot of hair. I am a year out and its still falling out a little. it has slowed considerably and I am not balding or anything, but I notice the difference. Just be prepared to change your style up and you will find something that works for you. if its thick to start u will probably end up with just normal hair in the end. Hugs, Sara
