New to the Board

Hello everyone! I am new to these boards. I am still trying to figure out how to update my page so I can add my journal entries onto it!...lol Well, a little about me. I am 28, living in Los Angeles, and awaiting insurance approval for the roux-en-y procedure. I am a single mom of 4 and not having anymore kids (thank goodness)! I am a student, and I work full-time. I admit that I am a little scared, but I don't show it because everyone is like this is a bad idea. But I have done my research and I know this is the best decision that I have ever made. I think that it's nice to have a forum like this for support. Any advice anyone could give would be great. Thanks. LaToya

Hey LaToya!!! Welcome, welcome to the boards! This really is a great site, to share info, give and recieve encouragement, and not to mention make some friends that are going through the same thing you are! I think everyone goes through periods that they are scared about having this surgery, ( at least I do ) But it is a personal choice that you have to make for yourself!!
