I just found this messageboard and I wanted to say hello to all my 20-something WLS friends! My name is Sara and I am 28. I have been an AMOS member for 5 years now and I love this site. I had the VBG almost a year ago. So far I am down 124 pounds and life is great! I can't believe how wonderful this surgery has been for me. Sometimes I wonder when my luck is going to run out, but then I check myself and realize that it isn't about luck
Despite what people who don't know about the process of WLS think...this is hard work! It's easier than doing it without surgery for sure and for that I am very grateful.

Welcome to the 20's board and Congratulations on your 124 lb. weight loss. 
I am pre-op. I see my Surgeon Thursday and hopefully I'll get a date and finish up my testing.
