HAS ANYONE HAD AETNA POS II

I AM NEW TO THIS SIGHT AND I THINK IT IS GREAT!! I AM TRYING TO GET EVERYTHING IN ORDER BEFORE I GO TO THE DR. IF YOU GO ONE TIME TO THE DOCTOR AND DONT GO BACK FOR FIVE MONTHS THATS NOT REALLY SUPERVISED IS IT??I HAVE A BMI OF42 ,SLEEP APNEA,SLIGHTLY ELEVATED BLOODPRESSURE(ON MEDS FOR THAT AND DEPRESSION)I AM CONCERNED ABOUT MY INSURANCE.WE HAVE AETNA CHOICE POS II THROUGH MY HUSBANDS WORK CSX I AM SO GLAD I FOUND THIS PLACE. HELLO TO EVERYONE!!!

You have to watch with Aetna now. If your husbands work doesn't carry WLS surgery on their policy (which most companies don't since it costs more) then Aetna will not approve any surgery. This new rule became effective on July 1, 2005. If I were you I would call your ins co and ask if your policy covers it.

Hi I also have aetna pos II through a johnson & johnson comany and they paid 100% of my surgery.... You may want to check with them though if csx had excluded the surgery or not, but I didn't have a single problem with them and not only did they pay 100% but I was approved within 2 hours of my dr's office faxing in my papperwork. Good Luck
