Getting even closer!!

As of this past Friday, I officially have all of my pre-op requirements either scheduled or completed. My last thing will be my upper gi endoscopy on Sept. 15 and then I can hopefully get throguh to my surgeon's office to schedule an appointment and get a surgery date. I am so excited. It seems like this has been the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life but it is also worth so much more than anything else. By the way, I am also down 12 pounds from the beginning of this month, just on exercise and portion control. It's kinda cool how motivating this surgery can be - even before you get it!!

way to go.. tha tis so cool.. Glad to see you are seriously ready for change.. this will be the ride of your life.. I am six months post op and its a trip.. literally.. so if you ever need any advice, support or someone you can cry to .. I am here.. I live in cali too.. down near LA .. Stay in touch... Helen

Thanks so much! I am down in LA every so often - my sister and mom live in West LA and my best friend is in Burbank. I grew up in Encino. I am so excited to be post-op but I am working hard now to lose the weight before this all begins.
