Question- I warned ya!

A Kind of Nasty Strange Question Hi all, Well here is a new one for ya! I noticed I have been smelly lately. I went to bed last night and sweated alllllllllllll night long, My hubby told me this morning, no offense but you stink. I had just taken a shower the morning before, So that night I didnt take a shower then when I got up this morning, I stunk! I was wondering if this had anything to do with the weight loss. I have noticed I have lost some more inches. I also noticed a strong smell in my urine, although I have been getting more water. I just thought maybe you all had some insight on it. I use anti bacteral soap and I dont use ''products down there'' It is not a horrible smell just an unpleasent smell I just thought maybe it had something to do with WLS> I have been having these horrible night sweats also. Hmm another thought...I have been having alot of bodily fluids down there, because my sex drive has been higher CONSIDERLY. I am not sure why. Sounds like Ketosis to me. Ketosis happens when you don't have much carbs and your body is burning solid fat because it can't find any carbohydrates to burn. There's some controversy about how safe it is to be in ketosis for a long period of time, but ketosis is the goal of the Atkins diet for rapid losing. If it bothers you, trying upping your carbs a bit. Hope this helps. Sarah

Hey Rachel I have been having night sweats too. I mean its bad, I wake up several times in the night just soaked. My docotor said that it could be hormonal because fat holds onto estrogen and as we are losing fat we are losing estrogen as well. I dont have a cure for you , but at least there is an explanation. hey there, i don't know about the sweating thing but i have the urine problem too, but mines is really strong. im only 4 weeks out but i get lots of water in. i see my dr on tuesday so im gona ask him about it. i wanted to ask you about the sex drive thing. did you have a low sex drive after surgery cuz i sure do and im a little conserned because i don't enjoy it as i did before. i cried after sex the other day because i hate disapointing my hubby and i don't want him to think it's him you know. i guess i'll have to ask dr that too, i just hope it's not mental and i look like a fool,lol. well i hope you get an answer to your smelly problem, let us know! maria
