Is it true about stretchmarks..
I just read a post where someone said where stretch marks are you have lost your all elasticity.
Is this true or possibly have some truth to it?
We are all worried about the skin but when I saw that it actually made sense and kind of freaked me out a little.
Still in the pre stages, getting approved but am still doing as much research as possible.
Can't wait for feedback on this.
By the way I am 28, 5'4 and 265 so hopefully this helps but most of you are even younger then me (makes me feel old).

Good question, I'm not sure of the answer.
After having my kids and gaining 110lbs with the first(no joke went from 140 to 250 in 9 months - wasnt a pretty site) my tummy looks like a roadmap. Ive noticed that as I'm losing weight they appear to be getting smaller. They are still there, but they are fading and arent as deep as they used to be (they used to look like cuts on my skin). Of course my stomach is nowhere near flat, but everythings pretty well going back where it should no hanging skin- just looser than it should be.
I figure my only chance for a flat tummy is a tummy tuck which I'm already saving for, so I'm not too worried about it.

Tara,
With my experience yes it is true. Where ever my stretch marks are that is where the skin hangs the most................but I'm not complaining I would rather be this way than the way I was pre-op. I would like plastics but have come to accept the way my body has ended up, due to my financial situation I could never obtain plastic surgery. But everyones body is different so it might not be so bad for you. But trust me you will be much happier despite the skin.
