Just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself. I'm Amy i'll be 23 in a week. I'm going for surgery on the 17th of August i'm traveling to Mexico to get the Lap Band done. I'm super excited and a little nervous. I'm excited to start my new life, but nervous becuase I'm going by myself. I havent told many people i'm getting this done, including my family. Amy, You'll Be Fine Amy. I Have Heard Of Plenty Of People Going To Mexico To Get There Surgery. Have You Found A Place Near Home To Get Your Fills And Stuff Like That??? Best Of Luck To You. I'm Sure You Will Do Well. Everyone Is Usually Nervous Going Into Surgery. I Was Fine Until I Seen My Doc...And He Was Like Help Her A Little....Then Boom I Was Out...Before I Knew It I Was Out Of Surgery....Thank God For Anestheia (Misspelled But Yeah You Know What I'm Talking About) I'm Sure You'll Do Well. I have found a Doc that will do my fills and he is only a 2.5 hour drive away. And the awesome part is its only $100.00 a fill! whoo who for me. lol Thank-you for the kind words your awesome! Amy

Amy, well congrats on your surgery date, I'm sure you are so excited I know I was, I coundn't barley sleep the week before.... But don't be to nervous everything will be fine.. OH I see you are having a birthday next week, ME TO mine is on Thursday the 11 but I will be 24, Whens Yours? Jennifer

Amy, Hey girl! I hope your surgery goes well. ITs so normal to be nervous. I just want to know..why do you have to get your surgery in Mexico? Please be very carefull with the docs from Mexico..I wish you all the best. God Bless, Brittany

I'm getting surgery in Mexico because here in Canada there is like a 5 year wait to get it done. I'm not waiting that long. I will have it all paid off before then so what the hell, its only money right! No i have done my research with the Doc's in Mexico and my doc has done over 5000 surgeries! Most Doc's in Mexico are more experienced then the ones in Canada and the US. Infact that's where alot of our Doc's get trained from, the Mexican Doctors. I'm not at all nervous about the surgery in Mexico i'm just nervous about flying and going by myself. I'm sure i will be fine. I know this is the right decision for me, but i keep having the usual doubts. Amy

Congrats with your upcoming surgery I think everyone gets nervous right before the surgery and I am sure you will be fine I hope you have a speedy recovery and a safe trip how long will you be over there to recover?
