hello fellow 20 somethings!! I am so glad they created this board!! I sometimes have a hard time relating to the people on the main board and my anniversary board b/c they are so much older than me and most are married and have kids, etc. A little about me: Im gonna be 24 at the end of this month and had surgery in Feb. 04. I have lost a total of 80+ lbs and am fluctuating between 182-178 right now. I want to get down to 160-165 to have my grand total be 100-105lbs. I have never been "skinny" but I wasnt overweight till I was 12 and puberty struck. I was obese till I hit a bad spell of depression in college and ate and didnt do anything but sit around and sulk and be miserable. So glad I had the surgery and so glad I found this board!!! sarah

Sarah, As a newbie to the board and someone undergoing my pre-opp tests (no opp date yet, I need to schedule that soon) I'm curious about the speed of your weight loss. I've read/heard many stories about dramatic weight loss (including my dad's 100 lbs. gone in 6 months!) but was thinking that a gradual loss is better for skin elasticity to be maintained. What are your thoughts? Any other opions? -Kari
