Newbie and Nervous
I'm in the process of being approved by insurance (I know I will be approved -- meet ALL requirements my insurance requires)
The only thing is my insurance also requires losing 10% body weight and 3 months nutrition counseling. Meaning my doctors want me to lose my 10% of 26.5 lbs (265lbs start weight) in 2 months so insurance can be approved during my last month of nutrition counseling.
I'm nervous about having RNY (the surgery myself and my surgeon discussed would be right for me/my life situation) so young. Im also very excited for my life to come.
I'm tired of having fear for my future.
I always see obese people being seen as mean, unworthy, sluggish, rude, whatever (there are a lot of skinny people like that too, but you have to at least talk to them to know ;)
But on the outside -- I am a big girl, a smiley, friendly big girl, but big and guarded, no less... but on the inside -- I'm an energetic, lively, sweet tiny girl that wants to live life as the girl on the inside.
I have the willpower to make the surgery worth it (at least I deeply hope I do) but I need this surgery to save me from myself, so I can be my true self.
