Sleeve Gastrectomy?

 Hey y'all.

I'm new to this site. My name is Rana, and I'm 22 years old!

I'm scheduled to have the sleeve done on April 30! :)

I was wondering if any of y'all have had the sleeve, or are having it done in the near future?

I'd love to make some new friends who are taking the same journey as me!

 I got Sleeved the day after Christmas, I Love my sleeve. it was the best Christmas gift I could have done.

 Hey! I am new to this as well, I am actually in the beginners process next month is my third appointment then I believe after that is all these test then trying to get approved. I am still trying to choose between gastric sleeve and gastric bypass...any advice..??? Feel free to add me..BEST OF LUCK

 Well, gastric bypass was never an option for me, even though I have a large amount of weight to lose.

I choose the sleeve for a couple reasons:
I'm only 22, not diabetic, and the sleeve is a little less restrictive than the bypass which I believe for me is good in the long run, the sleeve is also less invasive, so that's why I've choosen to go with that!

Once I met with the doctor, he also reassured me that he feels I made the best choice for me, so that always helps too!
