I know some of you did not care your his attitude on things WLS related, but no one would ever wish bad on him.

Yehuda, passed away last week in his sleep. We will never know exact reasons as his family are very strict Jewish. And they prohibit autopsies.

Here is the obituary:

First and foremost, R.I.P Yehuda. My empathy is with his family for their deep loss. Also while I understand you want to memorialize your friend, I think I speak for a few silent OH members out there when I tell you that you have happened to lower the morale in the WLS in Your 20's Message Board by writing this post. While I think it is noble of you to honor an OH member that has passed, I believe there is a Memorial section dedicated to just that. I feel that by posting obituaries and such in an otherwise positive and cheerful board is unecessary and dampers the spirits of members who frequent the WLS in Your 20's board. The original post although thoughtful, brings uneeded anxiety and fear for those members on this board who are nearing their surgery date or are freshly post-op. Just a thought. In the future, I urge you to please be considerate to other members on this board with sensitive topics like this one.

I did not know of this young man but I am deeply sorry to hear this! Did he have weight loss surgery or was going to get it?

I see nothing wrong with posting obituaries. If he is going to put himself out there with a profile and be 'known' on the OH community, then he should (and others) expect some discussion after such a tragic loss.

Apparently he had DS it said on his profile.

I appriciate you positng this. I think it is fine to post, it is a reality of having WLS, and we don't even know if it was WLS related.

I am not trying to make problems with you for not wanting the post on here, I just don't think of it as a negative thing.

I agree. It is a reality,I would hope if something were to happen to me that i would have someone caring enough to post for me.  I think, he would have appreciated it as well.  Thank you.

Through tears you know I would for ya Matt! But I'm never going to have to do that. Until we're like 160.
