Hey! I have had a profile on OH for some time now but never really used it but now that this is all seeming more real i really need someone to bounce questions off of . ive been aproved for surgery and am waiting for a call from the or giving me my date (probably in january) i have lost a total of 167 lbs in my nine month pre op thing. but i find that now i am just so nervous that ive kinda shut down and stopped exercising and eating healthy but i dont know how to get myself back onto the band wagon! Did anyone else go through this and how did you finaly get outta this rut? -Ana-Maree
Hi Ana Maree,
Welcome to the forum. I can't give any info on getting back on the bandwagon because in Ontario we weren't required to do a pre-op exercise and diet plan per say, but rather making changes now that would help after (i.e. cutting out pop, caffeine, switching to low-cal, low-sugar options if we hadn't done so already etc.), but I just want to say congrats on your success so far.
I was wondering if you were aware that there are forums that are specific each province, perhaps you can find someone on the Saskatchewan forum that can give you more relevant experience because they would of had to go through the same referall process. Of course, feel free to stick around the 20s forum, the more the merrier! But they might be able to give you more accurate information.
All the best with your surgery!
