surgery wednesday
I cannot believe how quickly this month has gone by! My RNY is wednesday and I think I may have been in denial because I woke up today finally feeling like this is going to happen. And I'm so nervous! Anyway today is the last day I will have to prepare for surgery. Any advice? What should I bring to the hospital? My surgeon has only asked me to take a multivitamin after surgery so far. Anything else I should stock up on? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Congrats!!! Good luck!! I brought my laptop, phone, phone charger, a robe to walk around in, and some face cleansing cloths with me to the hospital but I only stayed overnight. A friend who had her surgery stayed 3 nights and she said bringing her own non caff. tea was helpful because she was tired of drinking the same flavor crystal light that the hospital had. You will need other vitamins as well but not for maybe 3 weeks or so after (thats what my surgeon has me on anyway). It is true that your taste buds will change and your sense of smell is insane! Good luck with everyone and have a speedy recovery! :-)
