11 week update
yesterday i was 11 weeks out. i have my 3 month checkup with my surgeon in 2 weeks. i started at 341 and this morning i weighed 276. ive lost 65 pounds! i joined a ladies only gym and im loving it. ive lost so many inches! sometimes i still wish i could eat more of something when it tastes good. but thats one of the reasons why i was so big. i love the restrictin otherwise. i notice myself walking fast everywhere. i can now walk up the stairs easily. when i carry the 2 year old i babysit up the stairs she weighs 20lbs im like geez my knees are killing me and she's heavy. to think ive lost her times 3 is hard to believe. idk how my body was handling it. my drs want me around 180lbs. my personal goal is 150. id like to be 250 by christmas. i can pretty much eat anything, only smaller portions. i did have the sleeve, but i do get dumping syndrome when i eat anything high in carbs or sugar. so thats agood because those were my weaknesses and it keeps me away from them. i found special k cracker chips thanks to my friend amanda :-) you can have like 27 for just over 100 cals! also, i started eating frozen or steam bag meals which are low cal high protein cheap and fast. this keeps me from eating things cheap and fast that i shouldnt. i was throwing up a lot last month but its gotten better this month and ive only thrown up once and i belive it was from eating too much. im still having a hard time knowin the difference between satisfied and full. the only way i know to quit eating is when i feel full or my chest feels heavy. i need to work on it. i started using myfitnesspal.com which is a GREAT tool to help track my food intake and exercise. tracking has helped me to realize what im eating and lose weight. i do need to drink more water, and going to the gym is helping that cause im sweaty and thirsty! lol. well i hope everyone else is doing well!
You are doing a wonderful job and averaging 6lbs a week in weight loss. I am looking into joining Curves---I had done it before when I was doing Weigh****chers and absolutely LOVED the ladies only environment. Keep up the excellent work!
