I am new to OH!  I had the BPD/DS on 8/30 and I already losing weight!  I am so excited... Only downfall at this time is sticking with the crazy liquids every 15 min and getting all my protein.... any suggestions?

I am still pre op but have been trying lots of protein shakes and am on a 80gram/day protein diet right now. I have found a shake at gnc that is called Total Lean shake. It has 25 grams of protein and only 2grams of sugar. 170 calories. My doctor said they would be great to drink post op. They are so amazing. They are ready to drink. No mixing involved. I have tried Unjury shakes at unjury.com and don't think they are near as tasty as the Total Lean Shakes from GNC that are ready made. They have a great sale on them this month so I bought a few cases. Hopefully I will still be able to tolerate them after surgery. Great luck on your weight loss journey

Thanks Sheena!   I am just trying to find something that I can stand.  Two and a half more weeks of liquids alone according to my Doc!  I don't want to get burned out. Good luck to you with your WLS as well!!

I LOVE Nectar Protein Powder.  The chocolate is my favorite.  You can get the sample packs online.  They even have more fruity flavors if that's more your thing.  I've also tried Premier Protein Shakes.  Get them at Costco.  They are premade and pretty good also.
