I've been told it's completely normal to stall so early out, but wanted to check with my younger peeps. LOL.  Did y'all stall around 3-7 weeks out post-op??  Thanks for your help!

I did, I stalled around 2 1/2 weeks post-op, and the scale didn't budge for about 2 weeks, frustraded the heck out of me! lol But once I started loosing again, I dropped about 10 lbs in a week. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Thanks! It's been about 2 weeks for me and still no budging.  I will have to just calm down and wait it out. Nothing else I can do. LOL.

YES!! Happened to me at 3 weeks. I just now broke the stall this week. I was in a stall for almost exactly a week and even gained some (like 1.8lbs or so).  In the past 3 days I'm down 6lbs alone though, so YAY!!!

Good luck to you, it'll happen!

Curious to know...I'm still pre-op, but my surgery is on Aug. 25 which is like 3 weeks away. What sort of exercises have y'all been doing? Is your activity level the same as b4 or are you struggling to move?

I know I hate when people say this... but... it really differs from one person to the next. One OH buddy and I were fairly close in weight pre-op, had surgery the same day, and she is killing me on weight loss- and my docs keep telling me how great I'm doing! I didn't stall at 3 weeks but I stalled about 3 months out.... the scale was stuck forever. Now that I'm sitting at home recovering from gall bladder surgery I'm hoping that at least I can knock off some pounds to make this pain and nausea somewhat worth it! :)

Yeah, you're absolutely right.  I hadn't thought of that before.  I'm definitely feeling my clothes are getting looser I just wish the scale would reflect that as well.
