x-post .. finally post op!
I had my RNY done on monday the 16th :) I got home from the hospital yesterday and i feel great :)
I have 6 small incisions which have glue, steri-strips and regular Band-Aids... no sutures :)
I've been walking and sipping and I got down one protein shake today... took me about 2 hours, but i did it :)
I had a fabulous nursing staff at my hospital and I was very happy with my hospital stay
I see my surgeon on tuesday for my first follow up :)

I read your post and started crying, I know, I'm a big baby. I had surgery October 5th 2009 and remember being where you are now. It's going to be life changing. It will be so hard at times, but so so worth it once you drop a significant amount. Congrats on taking this step towards a better and healthier you! -Amber
