approved!!!!
I got my approval this morning in record time it only took 1 day!!! Now I am scared/excited/idontevenknow right now. I cannot believe it is finally here!! The insurance company gave the auth for April 19-21 but im not ready yet!! I have school and work still scheduled did any of you have to change your date?? was it any problem? i would love for it to be after finals after the 15th then i make 6 months at my job and can take medical leave for at least a month or something..idk ahhh im so excited..im waiting for the Dr's office to open so i can tell them the great news!!!!!!

I know EXACTLY what you're going through. I am a grad student and my semester doesn't end until May 21st.......my surgery though, is on April 26....I basically just took a deep breath and told myself that I could handle it. I got the surgeon note and gave it to all of my professors, they were all okay with it and have been accommodating so far...my reasoning for having the surgery now is that I need to work in the summer and I need to be fit enough and healthy enough to run around after kids all day...and I can't do that if I wait until after May 21st to get the surgery....
It was a tough decision for me to make, I did all of my pre-op tests alone, my mom will be here for about 4 days, but everything else is on me....I found that I can only really rely on myself at times, and this would be one of them....
I am taking a week off of school, and then sitting in class for 3 hours a day won't kill me....I'll be sleepy, but Im always sleepy during class
Anyhoo, enough about me...I wish you so much luck in figuring out your date! I hope it all goes well, keep us posted!!

Thanks girl! I have been talking to my mom about it and if that is the day we must do it the it is what it is..school I can take care of it is just work i am worried about..but i am almost at the point where they got me where I needed to be and after surgery oh well i can always get another job:) but we will see I will find out for sure tomorrow
