Just after 3 weeks out - eating real food! YAY!!
Finally, after 5 weeks total on liquids and I have gotten to go to solid foods. It makes me feel like a real person again! Yay!
Ok, so question for my fellow "20 + agers" did any of you just not get your period after surgery? I'm almost 2 weeks late now and while my husband and I would LOVE a child, I am 3 weeks out. Now's not the right time. I have already taken a preg test (negative result) so now I can breathe a little sigh of relief but did this happen to you guys too?
Also, were all of you as excited as I am to be chewing again!?!? :) Hope all of you are "losing"! Take care all!

I started soft foods last week and was SO HAPPY! Life has been much closer to normal and I have a lot more energy since then. I started my period right on time, but I have been told by many people that their cycle got all screwed up after surgery. I would not worry too much at this point. It is probably nothing. Enjoy your soft foods!
