Well I cannot believe that I am officially 2 years post op!!! It seems like yesterday I was just getting ready to have surgery. I still am not at my goal weight and have actually regained some that I have lost which is kinda sad but at the same time totally my fault because I have not been working out like I need to and have not been following the rules like I know I need to. As of this morning I am 212.  Still a lot better off from where I was 2 years ago but still about 30 + lbs from where I would like to be. I'll get there and I'm hoping to be there by my 3 year mark, just have to get back to the basics and do what I know I can do! Thanks for everyones support and I will try to post pictures here shortly

Congrats!

Since you are a few years out. Do you notice anything different medical wise that you can't do but other people your same age are doing?

As far as medical things that I cannot do I don't think I understand what you are asking??? If you could clarify what you mean by things I cannot do medically that would be great and I'll try to answer you. Socially though I am able to go out and do everything that a normal 23 year old can do. I drin****ationally when I'm out with friends, although it takes a lot less to get me drunk which isnt a bad thing either lol. I am a healthy/ happy 23 year old.

There is just not a lot of info on what will happen to young people getting WLS and I was wondering if there was a real change in like the difference between someone who had the WLS or someone who didn't.

You answered my question anyways there really isn't much of a difference.
