Plastic Surgery!

Any 20-somethings had plastic surgery after weight loss?  Despite not reaching goal yet and financial issues, I'm starting my research now!

One of my thoughts is that having plastics before pregnancy (if I decide to have children in the future) might be a waste of time and money since I will likely have to have everything repeated after that.  Anything to share?

Wait until you have maintained for a bit before plastics. You want to make sure you can truly manage your weight in maintanance before getting all barbied up.

Yes i have, i just had a lower body lift about a week ago. I had the gastic bypass 5 years ago and my weight was stable for like a year before i started planning and saving for it.  But i also did research before hand...couldnt help it lol

I will only need a breast lift (no BA needed), so I'm actually quite lucky.  I understand the LBL can be pretty intense.  Did you manage to pay cash, or did you need to finance?

Wow that is wicked lucky! lol i'll need that too. yeah its pretty crazy first 5 days was crazy...wanted to die but now after a lil more then i week im very happy and the pain it fine! Well insurance paid for the front part.. i paid cash to wrap it around the higs (thing/hip lift... no more muffin top) and around the back (butt lift) to make it a true lower body lift. It was only 4770...wich isnt that bad if insurance did pay anything id have to pay like 11k or 12K min!

Yeah, that's very reasonable.  I'm looking at going to Mexico for mine.  I went to MX for my WLS too, since I was cash-pay.  I kind of feel like if I'm doing it anyway, I may as well have breasts done, liposuction, and Brazilian butt.  

Do you think it is a waste to have cosmetic surgery before having children because of the weight gain/stretch with pregnancy?

Yeah same here im def getting my arms done for sure... i hope and most likely boobs and thighs (inner thighs)

To be honest that did cross my mind but im single and i have never enjoyed my body so i wanted to get it before kids and stuff... yes is it better prob smarter to wait BUT i just didnt want to... i couldnt wait i mean if i was married and planning on having kids in the next few years i would have waited i think it depends on the person ya know

That's kind of how I've been feeling too.  I'm also single, but I'd love to be married and have kids in the next five years, but I feel like I deserve a hot body to enjoy NOW.

wow same here... im the same exact way. i just felt like ill ne more confident and happy so i could have fun while im on my search lol I mean at the end of the day its up to you but im sooo happy i did it now. it means so much and itd not like if you have a baby is all over... yeah maybe your belly will strech but its not liek everything will be down the drain.

Well, I want my breasts done.  I've actually always wanted them lifted since I was a teen.  They just always sagged, so I'd feel a lot more confident if I were able to buy bathingsuits and things that fit properly.  And I'd love a little lipo just to contour me.  I work out a lot so I'm in pretty good shape.  I figure if I have kiddos, that will be the time for me to have a TT
