what do you use?
I just had on of my finally insurance required 'classes' and I meet with my surgeon to pick a date March 17 (the office lady said she normally does them 2 weeks after your last class, so Im expecting the begining of April :D ). Anyway, I was wondering what vitamins you take (brand) and where you get them, as well as your favorite shakes and any other needed things. - I hear alot about the cups with the ball whisks?
Thank you in advance!!!

Vitamins: Multi Vitamin = Flinstones Complete (LOVE feeling like a little kid!), Calcium = Citrical Pettites (not very pettite) you'll probably need to find a until you're a little further out post op, Sublingual B12 = Memembers Mark brand from Sam's Club.
As far as protein shakes go, remember you tastes can change from pre to post op. GNC is a great place to try them out those since you can return them with in 30 days. I had tried the Amp 60 kinds but I didn't like them. No matter how I mixed them. I actually found the cheap store brand whey protein from K-mart was my favorite! YAY for cheapness!! I never purchased the protein jug w/ shaker ball in it. I like my shakes to be semi-frozen, like a malt. So I will freeze my soy milk into 1oz cubes and toss them into my magic bullet with the powder and anything else I'm adding. I did buy a Stay-Fit Protein shaker, not so much for mixing my shakes, but the bottom part you can put in the freezer and it helps keep your shake nice and cold.
