I agree with the other poster. I don't really think about a certain brand or store (well, other than Victoria's Secret, maybe), but I can't wait until I can go into ANY store and grab things off the rack. I've been stuck in plus size stores/sections for so long that it will be surreal.

Theres no store in particular that i wanted to be able to shop in... but the FREEDOM of being able to walk into any store without feeling out of place or like the employees are staring at you is wonderful. I used to hate shopping with friends because i would feel so awkward and then i didnt want to make them go into Lane bryant or the plus size section so i would always shop alone. SO depressing... I do most of my shopping at forever 21 and target simply because of the price but i love that if i WANT to walk into buckle and buy a pair of jeans .... or VS and get someing sexy and cute.. i CAN :)

Good luck with everything and i hope you get your date SOON! :)

I sure know how that feels...My sisters are naturally thin..So when we go to the mall, I always have to go into all the stores that sell their small sizes...and get all the you dont belong in here stares...and at the end of our shopping trip, they go into Lane Bryant or one of the other 2 stores that sell clothes big enough to fit..and at rediculous prices!!...Glad you no longer have to suffer through this nonsense...

This thread reminds me when I was in middle school/high school and all my friends would shop at Rave (it was in the mall, not sure if there still around) and I would get so jealous because they didn't have clothes in my size lol. Anyways back to the topic, I would love to be able to shop at Charlotte Russe, Wet Seal, Express, Victoria's Secret, cant wait till the day that I get out of the plus size stores!

anywhere really, except lane bryant, avenue and catherines.

I'd really like to shop at NY&Co.  My plan is to definitely dress better after my RNY... Plus size clothes are just too expensive and even those don't fit me right.  Particularly the tops.  They were either too short... or too wide.  And the pants... alllllwaaayyys too long.. but i think i'm going to have that problem anywhere since i'm only 4'11'' and my surgeon said I should expect to shrink in height also from all the fat loss.

Also, I cant wait to be in smaller, cute scrubs.  I'm currently in school for medical assisting and plan to continue on to nursing... and i'd really like to have scrubs that look cute on me and me the right way.

Anywhere would be so much better then the plus size stores, like you said there expensive plus they don't have much variety. The same thing happens to me with clothes, the shirts I want are never long enough, (I have a longer torso then legs, at 5'7 my legs are the same length as my sister that is 5'3) and the pants are long on me, what annoys me the most is there tight in the waist, but baggy as hell in the butt and legs, so annoying!

I've often wondered why clothing stores (Macys, Dillards, Express, etc.) didn't have the same exact styles of clothes only in BIGGER sizes.  To me that makes more sense.  Lane Bryant is SO expensive and I never feel like they really fit all that well.  That being said, I've always wanted to go into NY & Co. and Express (or anywhere else for that matter that isn't plus sizes) and pick something off the rack.  Ah, I can't wait!!
