Tomorrow will be my last day for my regular diet and then its liquids til surgery. Im nervous about this entire experience but im excited to finally be joining the "losers bench" as people on the site refer to it. I feel blessed that I have been given this opportunity to become healthy again and to fix my body where Ive ruined it before. This is my motivation : My overall health and my self esteem. I know I can make this journey especially with the support from my best friend and the love of my life ( same person haha) and from family and friends and all of you!

So my Question to you if youve gotten this far: What did you have as your last meal before pre-op? My boyfriend says he'll cook me whatever I want. I figure why not get some ideas! :)

Love your motivation!!! I had a last meal, but it was more like numerous meals.. Couldn't pick 1 thing. I started this about 1.5 before my pre-op diet started.

- Pasta from a local restaraunt: Sausage, Sun dried tomato, onion, with a creamy sauce on penne
- Spinach Artichoke dip from the same place
- Chicken Tendermelt: Chicken Strips, Bacon, Pepper Jack cheese on buttery grilled bread dipped in ranch
- Thin Crust pepperoni sausage jalapeno pizza from Papa Johns
- BIG ole' greasy bacon cheese burger and onion rings from a local burger place!

I had to go out to get what i wanted, because even prior to surgery if I was actually cooking at home 90% of the time it was healthy!

Oh and I got myself a White Mocha from Starbucks with 2% milk and this time they weren't holding the whip for me! I wanted it all!

I don't remember, but make it a good one.

Good luck with surgery. On the 9th I have an appointment with a revision surgeon to seek revision from the bypass to the duodenal switch. I would recommend that surgery instead. The diet is much better and less fdietery restrictions and complications.

No last meal here. Had the DS, even though I'm more a foodie now. I love new or different foods but eat them in moderation.

But if I had to have picked one...it would have been the deep fried flour tacos from my fav Mexican restraunt. Luckily I can still eat them.
