Hi there,
I'm 23 and had my surgery on 1/11/11. I've already lost about 12 pounds! I'm thrilled. I have been having a lot of problems with head hunger though. Does anyone know of any books that deal with WLS or emotional eating that were helpful? Thanks!

Hey... I've read a couple books. The 1st one I can't remember the name of...helpful I know!! The other one my nutritionist gave me to me is The Success Habits of Weightloss Surgery Patients by Colleen M. Cook. It's pretty good. The author had RNY and there are other WLS patients personal experiences in it.

I had the smae problem...it gets so much easier. I thougt I was totally not going to be able to make it and i felt like I was in my own head jail lol. It gets easier everyday... before I couldnt even have anyone eat infront of me...or even cook in the house...now I can cook huge meals for my family and enjoy my puree or broth right along with them ;-)

I would check amazon for books tho... plus u can always get them used
