Hello everyone again! my surgery date is almost here.. I just want to know if there are any others out there under the age of 21 who can share their story with me?. I feel like I am alone in a way  because everyone on this site are pretty much older than me.( no offense lol )
I wont lie. Right now i feel like a complete failure because i should not have put myself in such a predictment to get WLS but i mean what is done is done. You know? anyway. So is there anyone who would like to share their story with me?

Don't worry you are not alone! I'm 20 years old and I'm having VSG on the same day as your RNY actually! Don't feel like a failure, a failure is someone who gives up. You aren't giving up, you are making a very brave a serious decision to take back your life and make a permanent change in your life for the better! Obesity is a disease and by taking any measures to conqure it you are being a brave person. There are plenty of others out there just like us, trust me. So don't ever feel that you are in it alone. And this site especially is a great place for support, information, and encouragement. So just try to remember that. Support is only a click and a message away, girl. So start getting excited! Our surgeries are just around the corner and the journey to a healthier happier life is just begining! Better to take care of it now while you're young so you can enjoy the rest of your adult life!
Good luck with your surgery! Let me know how things go!

Just know you're not alone in this. I'm 20 and i'll be getting my surgery two weeks from Monday. I'm excited but I'm a little scared at the same time, especially since I have to lose 17 lbs by my surgery date on the Opti Fast shake diet.

Hey girl i had my surgery when i was 22, I'll be 3 years out this january 31st.
I was concern also about  my age and choosing the RNY. but my dr. made me feel very confortable about that. and told me this was the way to be a healhy adult. n honestly seeing all these old and sick people in the waiting room scared the sh*$# outta me!!!
I'm not gonna lie it was hard decition but i was brave n i sticked to it!
I wrote like a diary on my page if you wanna go look,  of all my feelings before and after surgery you may find it helpful!
