New here
Hey all - just wanted to introduce myself. I'm preop now, and my surgery date is December 17. I am having RNY, and go to my preop appt this coming up Thursday, and I think I will start my liquid diet Friday, so things are becoming very real now! I'm 29, so I'll probably get on here and the WLS in your 30s board since I'm so close to 30 now (yikes!). I've made the decision that my 30s are going to be awesome. Not that my 20s aren't awesome, but I have been obese for most of them, so I'm looking forward to not being that way in my 30s and then on. I'm very excited about the changes that are about to happen in my life, and I appreciate any advice/tips those of you who have been through it already have to offer. The biggest thing I can't get on board with is a protein shake/powder that I like, so any suggestions in that area would be very helpful.
