MSNBC article about WLS

Here was an interesting article linking birth defects to babies born of teen mother's who have undergone WLS (Gastric By-pass was what was studied).  Even though it's pretty inconclusive, it's still just another reason for ALL of us to vigilant in remembering to take all of our vitamins and to take care of ourselves.   Honestly, this is one of my fears of having another baby...I know that many who have had WLS went on to have happy, healthy babies but as we all know, like surgery complications, anything can happen...even if we are good about doing what we should.
