It's Been FOREVER
I haven't posted in a million years because I got really really really sick from complications but I thought I would check in and say Hello. I have lost 133 lbs since my surgery 11/02/2009. If I do say so myself I really do look fantstic. I had to take 8 months off work since I was unable to move the lower half of my body and had a feeding tube etc and when I came back NO ONE knew it was me. I have been back 2 months and daily have someone give me a hug and said I didn't know it was YOU!!! LOL
I feel fantastic from losing the weight but I do have to use a walker now. It is better than my wheelchair I ended up in. I just want everyone toknow that losing the weight is fantastic but there are side effects that even the most prepared person can have. Message me if you want details, I don't need to scare everyone. LOL I was the most "it won't be me" person you could meet. I went back to work full time 7 days after surgery and thought I was doing great. Not so much LOL. I will post some pics soon.

Thank you for sharing part of your story. I think it's important to remember first-hand that WLS is major surgery and complications can happen. I'm sorry you had to be the one enduring the problems but I'm happy to hear that you are working your way out of them.
Congratulations on your weight loss and welcome back!
