Surgery!

So Im finally on the losers bench! I had surgery less than 12 hours ago, and I dont even feel hungry!
I walked 2 hours after returning to my room, and once again 4 hours later. Pain wise, its not that bad....... with the meds its even better!
Tomorrow morn I have my leak test! Wish me luck! Ill keep everyone updated,

I'm glad to hear your surgery went smoothly and you seem to be doing so well.  Good for you on all the walking but do remember to get plenty of rest as well.

Thanks for replying to my post! As for taking it easy! I so agree! Though Ive been having a hard time to sleep for hours at a time. I find myself sleeping for intervals, or dozing off for a few moments at a time. (lol I just did it)

IS there anything I should know about the post op hospital stay?
I had no expectations when it came to the hospital experiance!

I was pretty sore post hospital stay and got pretty bad gas pains for the first two days.  Um, eating will take some getting use to..just remember to sip water!   I felt pretty much back to normal within two or so weeks.
